3D Ultrasound 25 weeks!

Here is a shot of her sweet face. She looks just like Daddy!

Waving

Today we had our 3D ultrasound. It took an hour and half and it was AMAZING! We got to determine that she will be Addison Cynthia Chan and we got to see how much she has grown. She is measuring in at the 79th percentile in height (thanks Daddy!) and 50th percentile in weight. She weighs 1 pound 9 oz and she has all of her Daddy's best features like his mouth and his nose. She was really squirmy at first, however, the ultrasound tech did a couple of things to get her moving (i.e. putting me on my hands and knees!) and it worked! Her head in down which is good and resting comfortably on my bladder!! We can't wait to meet her. This was truly an amazing day!!

Baby Jack's Baby Shower

My dear friend Molly (Reardon) Mandel is about ready to pop with her little boy Jack in October. Her aunts held a beautiful shower for her and Jack on September 12th. Here are a few photos of her shower and our high school friends.

Here a couple of pics of Kevin and myself and my friends Laura and Michelle loving on Addison. I am 24 weeks pregnant in these pictures.

A Beautiful September Wedding

On September 11th, 2009 one of my very best friends and one of Kevin's very best friends were married. It was an amazing day here in Columbus and both Kevin and I were honored to be a part of the wedding party. Congrats to the Ben & Alison Katuz! We love you and wish you an amazing future together!!

25 weeks and 3D ultrasound

On Saturday, I hit 25 weeks! We now only have 15 more weeks until our sweet baby girl arrives! Tomorrow, we are scheduled to have a 3D ultrasound. I am most looking forward to seeing our baby's face and also confirming that she is in fact a "she."

We had an early ultrasound (18 weeks) to determine the baby's sex so that Kevin's father, Benny would be able to know what we were having before he passed. Since the ultrasound should have been performed at 20 weeks, we are going to have this 3D ultrasound so that we can start painting the nursery pink next weekend!

On September 17th, my mom's birthday, Kevin's dad lost his battle with cancer. He was such an amazing support to Kevin and I and he will be missed, especially by this baby. He was so excited to become a grandpa again and was thrilled over the fact that this one would break the Chan mold of all boys. I know that he will be looking down on her as she grows and Kevin and I will make sure that she knows what a wonderful, strong man her Grandpa Chan was.

Thank you to all of you who have continued to pray for our family and for Benny. We have felt such overwhelming love and strength from all of you. This has been a trying six months, however, now we know that Benny is at peace and no longer suffering. Kevin and I can start focusing on our future with this incredible miracle God has given us. We love and miss you Benny. May you rest in Peace.
This picture was taken right after Benny's diagnosis. He is holding my nephew Alex, something he did quite often. If you ever needed your baby to fall asleep, send him Benny's way!
